Marianne Faithfull现在的面貌好象是自己60年代的那张脸的灰烬.不过她现在的歌可是从灰烬中涅盘再生的凤凰了.她是真正的singer了.

回复删除Yes, she certainly made her imprint on the stones’ repertoire. Has her fate really totally changed by the stone or stones and all those drugs? I am not sure.
When I was young, I preferred the stories with sudden shining ending and dreamt about die-young. Getting older, I have learned to appreciate the stories of surviving: sometime it’s in an old performer’s new interpretation of a famous tune; sometime it’s in an unexpected piece of violin concerto; sometime it’s merely some headline news…It can break you down and draw you back together at the same time. ---XM
